Andy Watt has created these slam-dunkin’ illustrations for the opening credits of Roundball, an indie film due to take on the festival circuit in the US. Three points to Andy!
The James Irvine Foundation, a philanthropic, non-profit organization based in California, commissioned Folio Art’s Owen Davey to illustrate their new campaign, with stunning results.
The piece looks at new and exciting ways to engage young people and encourage them to make their passions into careers. While the artwork is an Owen Davey original, the animation was seamlessly executed by the London studio Animade.
A big thank you to everyone on both sides of the pond who made this piece really shine.
Since 2008, Chris has been creating conceptual images for a multitude of magazines, newspapers and advertising clients. Raised on a steady diet of comics, video games, and film, he has developed a knack for visualising heroic and surreal images.
Chris works in a graphic digital style that is heavily influenced by limited-‐colour screen-‐printing, stencilling, and woodcut aesthetics. His goal is to create a high-‐visibility image that immediately communicates an idea or concept with the viewer.
It’s been a long time in the making, but we can finally show you this wonderful animation for Gas Jeans.
A collaboration between Jason Brooks and Folio animator Andy A’court. The film charmingly portrays the magic of Gas Jeans’ new range of bum-boosting Pop-Up jeans. Follow the white rabbit.
Not only does Jason feature in and on the cover of Tony Glenville’s ‘New Icon’s Of Illustration’ but we’re also pleased to share the official announcement of his own book ‘Paris Sketchbook’!
Part guidebook, part illustrated journal, it’s a beautifully put together book that will take pride of place on any fashion, art or travel lovers bookshelf. We’re all very proud of him indeed! Both of the above are published by Lawrence King.
